Frederick B. Sattler in 1881 was the Supt & Manager of Belleville Pump & Skein Works (Belleville Stove). Sattler began his foundry career at the Sucker State Drill Co. Was President for 12 years. The Pump & Skein Co. made castings for Sucker State.

1850 Census:
Caroline, age 24 and Jacob, age 12. They are living in Belleville but in different households.
We do know that Frederick bus parents were Peter and Elizabeth. Peter, according to a Daily Advocate article dated 11/6/19015, established a wagon factory about 1855.

Frederick, Caroline, Henry, John, Elizabeth. The newspaper file at the Belleville Public Library does not have information on a Peter Sattler. The newspaper file has much information on Frederick but it relates only to his working career as President of Sucker State Drill Co. and the Belleville Pump & Skein Works (later Belleville Stove Works).
